I have been dreaming about this idea of creating a week of holidays where you don't need to think or worry about anything but
S U R F I N G & P A I N T I N G
And it's becoming real.
I want to share with you what a magic day feels like to me, here in my hometown, and multiplied into a full week.
Starting a day with a fruity breakfast, surfing where the good waves are, then spending the rest of the day painting with waterxolor, calmly at our new home.
To finnish, a delicious dinner by the chef insite or in one of our traditional restaurants.

Surf sessions will be adapted to your level:

Beginner level - for those who have never tried surfing or are still making the first steps in it

Intermediate level - for those already catch green waves, but would like to improve their surf.

Advance level /Surf guiding for those who are completely autonomous in the water and just want to enjoy good spots of our West coast.

Santa Cruz area has a lot of beautiful natural places to discover, and to get inspired for painting, so why not to grab some brushes and go explore?
This blessed coast has waves all year long.
All the surf instructors from Cliff are friends and locals who knows
where the waves are, you just need to grab a board and wetsuit.

We will stay at Cliff Surf House, which is far more than just a lovely house with a pool, farm and baby goats :) . Its the Surf house of one of my best friend Stefan and his wife Nina, where I always feel at home. Cliff is the perfect place for those who love nature, surfing and authentic Portuguese culture, the perfect place to make this retreat.
Cliff Surf house was born of the desire to share the passion for surfing, the ocean and the amazing country of Portugal with every open-minded person. The motto at Cliff Surf House is “Come as a guest, leave as a friend”.
Located in Santa Cruz, just 15 minutes walking to our home beach Vigia. They have huge hang out areas, a sunny pool, a co-working space, an outdoor sports area, a gorgeous bar – and all that surrounded by calming nature. The best part is our 6.000 m2 farm, which gives us our own fresh veggies and fruits for the most sustainable way of living
